I’ve spent much of my life around boats, beaches, bays, lakes, and the Gulf. These are true memories from those years—the places, people, and moments that stayed with me.
Many of these stories come from a time when there was no phone in my pocket, no GPS telling us where to turn, and no stream of messages following us through the day. We found our friends, watched the weather, learned the water, and figured things out as we went.
